We used our 15oz “Yamato Damashi” denim, which roughly translates as ‘the heart and soul of Japan’, made by weaving slubby, extra-long fibers on a vintage shuttle loom. This gives the denim a really supple texture, but also makes for some incredible vertical fades. Compared to standard jeans, the waist is a little tighter. Compared to the S310SPII shorts the thigh width is a little smaller, and the length is shorter.
