A work shirt made of indigo-dyed "amegasuri" checked flanned fabric. Made of a 2/1 twill typical of flannel, this shirt has a dark blue and pale blue color scheme but with a Samurai twist. We've woven this with three colored threads: indigo, asagi, and kinari, all strategically placed to give the appearance of rain. A combination of flannel texture and sashiko, this fabric is made with a thick count on a dobby loom. Because it is not woven under high tension, it is soft and unbrushed and can be used for many years to come. As the fabric is made of indigo-dyed thread, there may be some unevenness in color shading, but please understand that this is part of the 'flavor' of this product.

Please note that, because of the hand-dyed indigo yarn, if the fabric gets wet from rain or sweat, there is a possibility that the dye may fade or transfer to other garments. The same may occur if the fabric is rubbed too strongly.
