Our 21oz relaxed tapered model.
With a narrow hem, regular crotch, and plenty of room in the hips and inseam, these are truly a stress-free silhouette.
We use our strongest 21oz selvedge denim for these, created by using thick 3.6 count slubby thread, of course woven on a vintage shuttle loom. This results in the ultimate heavy denim that is not only thick, but also has incredible texture and fade potential.
The patch shows Musashi and Kojiro as giants to denote the 21oz denim, while the half moon signifies the tapered silhouette. Other details include an exclusive flasher, the iron sunrise buttons, copper coin-shaped rivets, and our ‘Impermanence’ jaquard slake.
For the sewing, we’ve stuck mainly to two colors: banana yellow and golden brown, with the stitch count, needle count, and stitch width all varied according to each part of the jeans to bump these up to the next level of attention to detail.
Due to changes in specifications, the arcs stitching and the woven SAMURAI label on the back pockets have been removed.
